One of the first rings I made and still one of my favorites, wanted to share some of the process behind the skateboard ring.
Inner tube and outer ring need to fit perfectly flush before soldering.

Soldering the inner tube and outer ring together. Hollow form bodies need a tiny hole to allow gases to freely move out, so they don't explode when heated.

World's tiniest teckdeck. Fine silver for the bolts.

Burning the midnight candle, so a late-night walk for a break.
Final ring before patinating with liver of sulfur. Used copper for the piece that makes up the skatebowl, too, for a deeper patina that replicates asphalt.
Fine silver on the board was too fine and tiny to survive soldering onto the ring.
